This is the tour to get your staff out of the office and into a fun filled day cycling the Otago Central Rail Trail. We organise everything for you - bike hire, transport, morning and afternoon teas plus the added bonus of flying in the historic Southern DC3 Charitable Trust aircraft.
The Southern DC3 Charitable Trust comprises Trust Patron Richie McCaw, Chairman David Horsburgh, Trustees Brent Esler, Keith Pickford and Brian Hall. The Trust was established in 2006, to rescue the last DC3 in the South Island from being sold offshore. The DC3 heritage airliner has been voted Most Valuable Aircraft of the Century by Flight magazine and has played a distinctive part in New Zealand’s aviation history.

Flying experience (More info)
Your Fly Cycle package begins in Christchurch flying with the Southern DC-3 Charitable Trust crew on the restored DC-3 aircraft for a step back in time. After an 8.00am start from Christchurch the aircraft will take 1.25 hours to fly to Oturehua.
Historic places, unique landscape (More info)
The tour travels through the remote Central Otago area of the South Island of New Zealand exploring the remote picturesque landscape and some of the best engineering features of the old Otago Central Branch railway line including a major viaduct and two tunnels. This line was constructed at the turn of the 20th century and completed in 1921, having taken 42 years to complete and providing a vital link to New Zealand's major goldfields in Central Otago.
