1 Day Independent Tour - Taste the Trail - ex Dunedin
A great day trip from Dunedin travelling through the Strath Taieri and Maniototo areas to Ranfurly in our modern shuttle, cycling one of the most beautiful parts of the Otago Central Rail Trail between Daisybank and Hyde and enjoying the scenic splendour of the Taieri Gorge Railway trip home. We organise everything for you bike rental, transport, morning tea and packed lunch. Plenty of chances for photos and being tempted by the local cafes and hotels along the trail.

The day tour from Dunedin travels through a very picturesque part of the Trail in the expansive Strath Taieri Valley. You start at the picturesque old Ranfurly railway station, now the Information Centre, pass through the old mining town of Waipiata and enjoy the lovely section between Daisybank and Hyde running alongside the Taieri river with two bridges and a tunnel to provide added interest.
