2 Day Independent Tour - ex Clyde
If you only have a couple of days to spare you can still see and enjoy the best part of the Otago Central Rail Trail. Starting at Clyde, where you are taken by bus to Omakau to begin cycling on the first day the 43km to Wedderburn. Pass through the Poolburn Gorge, the township of Oturehua, where you can visit the Historic Hayes Engineering Works and the enchanting Gilchrists Store.

Because you only have a couple of days we start you further down the Trail and pick you up before the end. You still get to see interesting parts of the trail but if time is not in your favour this 2 day package is ideally suited. A taste now will have you wanting to come back for more at a later date when you have the time.

This 2 day tour travels through some of the the most interesting and picturesque parts of the Trail in the Central Otago area. This is part of New Zealand's only multi-day cycle trail on an old historic railway line and is highlighted by the two gorges that you will pass through. Venture into 3 preserved, but dark tunnels and over some fantastic viaducts.
