A night in Clyde

A magical trip from Queenstown to Clyde through the Kawarau and Clutha Rivers passing the hydro town of Cromwell. The Clyde Dam dominates the landscape at the end of the Cromwell Gorge. Stay in the historic town of Clyde at the Clyde B&B with Shirley. Dine out a one of the many eating places and have a good look around this quaint town.

4 days allows you to take your time and endulge in the spectacular scenery while cycling in safety in the peaceful countryside.Chances are abound to visit many of the historical sites along the trail which include the Hayes Engineering Works, St Bathans and Museums in the quaint little towns along the way. Although the history is recent compared with overseas standards, it is nontheless very interesting. Steeped in Gold Mining history, many of the relics are still there to be seen.
