NZ Cycle Trails
Cycle over the stunning Poolburn Viaduct | Lachlan Gardiner

There are so many cycle trails to explore in Central Otago. Many are part of the New Zealand Cycle Trail network and are one of the best ways to discover NZ’s stunning landscapes, local hospitality and unique culture. Predominantly off-road, these purpose-built cycle trails are suited for people of all ages and abilities, from beginner and ‘rusty riders’ to experienced cyclists.

Along every track there are opportunities to stop and take in the uninterrupted views; views not accessible by any other form of transport. Part of the experience is also exploring remote townships and iconic landmarks along the way.

Plan a self-guided or guided cycle trail holiday with Trail Journeys on one of the trails below. Join them together for the ultimate Central Otago experience.
