Add extra activities to your Otago cycling trip

Central Otago has a lot more to do than just the cycling trails.

Curling is at the heart of all the traditional ‘Central’ families. Naseby has an all-season, dedicated indoor curling rink so you too can try your hand. The Clutch / Mata-Au River and its gold bearing alluvial sands lured many a man with the hope of finding a fortune. Learn more of their exploits and have some fun on boat trip down the river from Alexandra or through the Kawarau Gorge, or take a tour to St Bathans and Cambrians or to Bendigo and see the diggings and lasting vestiges of their toils. Enjoy the wilds of Central Otago backcountry on a 4WD tour, relish the adrenaline rush at Highlands Motorsport Park or alternatively, appreciate a more leisurely trip visiting local vineyards.

Any of the below activities can be included in your itinerary - just talk to our team who can can help you select and book a range of complementary activities in the region.
